Apple Crisp

This apple crisp will knock your socks off! I have made this for years, and according to my husband, it is the best concoction I have ever created. It is so rich and delicious, that is hard to believe it is so easy to make.

Here's what you'll need:
1 1/2 cup flour
1 1/4 cup sugar
1 stick of butter
1/3 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon cinnamon
4-6 apples (the key is to have a variety of apples: 1 or 2 granny smith, fuiji, gala, red delicious are my favorites to mix)

Preheat oven to 350
Butter your casserole dish
Chop apples into cubes (not too small, otherwise they will be soggy) and place inside dish.

Make sure to mix the varieties of apples together. It really makes the final flavor unique and fabulous!
Add a 1/2 of the cinnamon on the tops of the apples when done

Mix flour, sugar, and butter together until crumbly.
Sprinkle over the apples- don't be afraid to use your hands, it's the best way!
Add remaining cinnamon to the top and bake for 35 minutes, or until golden on top

Enjoy!
