Easy Margherita Pizza

Ok, Ok, so I can't remember the last time I posted anything, and that's bad. I have been so busy finishing the school year, moving grade levels, and getting ready for baby Charlie to get here in only 10 more weeks! I haven't been trying very many new recipes, which is another reason I haven't posted either. This pizza recipe isn't new, in fact, it is tried and true. It is a SUPER easy crowd pleaser every time I make it!

Here's what you will need:
-1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
-2 garlic cloves, finely chopped (or 2 teaspoons mined garlic if you don't want to get your fingers garlic-y)
-4 large basil leaves, cut into strips
-2 medium tomatoes, chopped/sliced (however you prefer-I do some sliced and then sprinkle some chopped bits throughout)
-4 oz mozzarella cheese
-Ready made pizza crust (*I recommend Pillsbury's in the can, or Betty Crocker's just add water one)
Optional:
diced red onion
diced chicken

Let's get started!
1. Preheat your oven to 450 degrees
2. Spread out your pizza crust on a large piece of foil, wrapped around a large cookie sheet
3. Drizzle olive oil on the pizza crust (I use my fingers to ready spread it out!)
4. Sprinkle garlic evenly
5. Spread sliced/shredded mozzarella evenly
6. Place tomatoes on top of cheese,  and top it off with your fresh basil
*Add a dash of salt and pepper at the end
Cook according to pizza dough package (usually about 9-10 minutes) or until crispy
Enjoy!

Before I put it into the oven

After it came out, YUMMM
